0305331 Applied Sedimentology (2 Credit Hours)
Course Description :This course concentrates on the applied aspects of sedimentary rocks such as: paleoclimates, reservoirs for water and oil, source rock for oil, industrial rocks, landslides . In order to achieve that detailed study of sedimentary rocks is deeded: classification, types, properties, environment of deposition: clastics and non clastics, plus a lab and field.
